These are but a portion of the groups where we actually do submit your articles.
In the Article Distribution Email Groups, there are a few owners and hundreds of groups. When looking at the primary distribution groups, there are fewer than ten people who own the Groups that comprise all of the article distribution systems.
What most people fail to realize is that when a distribution service promises to distribute your articles on your behalf, the list managers are doing list management without any direct compensation from anyone --- not even from the service who has taken your money to distribute your articles.
All of these groups vary widely in their sizes. Some groups were created in 2000. The remainder were created at some point along the way. Inevitably, every few months we create new lists to attract new publishers. So, some of these groups will not show too many publishers subscribed to them just yet.
We do follow a system for creating new groups every few months, and we also do a housecleaning about once per year. During housecleaning sweeps, we delete groups that just never received any traction in the marketplace. If the group has fewer than ten people subscribed to it after one year, the group will be deleted.
Immediately below, we describe all of the groups that we use, including those we do not own and manage. Directly under this final summation, you will see a list of the actual groups we own and manage, and how many subscribers each group has.
All Group Counts and Subscriber Numbers are updated twice a week.
In total, we can distribute your article to up to 226 groups, which have 89062 publishers, webmasters and writers subscribed to them. All of these individual publishers, webmasters and writers have completed a double opt-in subscription process. (Contrary to the rantings of one of my competitors, there are far more publishers and webmasters in these groups than there are writers.)
We do not knowingly submit articles to any groups owned by Isnare.com or SubmitYourArticle.com. We each have our own independent networks, and we have very little actual cross-over in our distribution networks.
Not all articles will go to all groups, because alot of these groups are targeted to very specific topics. But, we do distribute to all groups whose descriptions match your topics.
These are the Groups We Own and Manage where our Competitor's may not submit articles:
147 TPW groups active, with a current count of 19304 total subscribers. 21 groups were deleted December 10, 2005 (MSN Groups bite). 4 groups were deleted April 12, 2006 (Wanadoo / SmartGroups bite also).
Soon, we will update this list to contain list descriptions for each group. We will even break down the groups by category. (For your convenience, these links will open into a new browser window.)
