FAQ #13: What is Article-Distribution.com?Question: I am still receiving email from thePhantomWriters.com, but the distribution email originates from Article-Distribution.com . Why is this?Answer: When I began thePhantomWriters.com program, I was ghost writing articles for clients. I had developed the distribution service as an value-added service for my ghosted clients. At a certain point, I had decided to offer the distribution service as a stand-alone service. In time, I had grown tired of the ghost writing side of the equation, so I decided to do away with that service for the time being. I was left with the quandary of having thePhantomWriters.com domain as a strong and recognized brand with hundreds of links coming into it and some of the most ideal search engine positioning I could have hoped to have. Yet, we no longer did ghost writing, and our domain name indicated that we did. One of my distribution clients was the first to give me the thought of adding a new domain name to the mix. He felt that it was better that I would have another domain for article distributions so that the publishers would understand that he really did write his own articles. Good point. For the record, all articles that we have distributed since September of 2003, have been written by the person whose name is attached to the article. thePhantomWriters.com is only a service provider whose clients happen to be writers. With my clients concerns being shared with me, I began the search for a new domain name for the distribution service. I eventually decided on Article-Distribution.com . In April of 2004, I registered the new domain and by the end of the month, I had changed the distribution email address to an address from the Article-Distribution domain. There really is no need for me to provide a link to that site at this time, because at this time, I am using the domain ONLY for the email address.
