Two Kinds of Article Marketing
There are very literally two kinds of article marketers in the world:
- Those Who Seek Mass Audiences - Getting published in newsletters can expose an author to tens or hundreds of thousands of readers in a single day.
- Those Who Seek Mass Links - Getting published on websites can help an author get Link Popularity recognition from the search engines, for his or her website.
| In my own best day, I found one article in two newsletters, one reaching half a million readers and the other reaching 50,000, and on the same day, I had another article published in a newsletter reaching a quarter million readers. We make a daily commitment to ourselves to serve our clients in a way that will help them to get the very best results for their articles.
But, it must be noted that not every article will perform as well as the one before it or the one after it.
We are happy to advise our clients on how to get the best consistent reprint results for their articles, but not everyone is willing to follow the advice we offer.

I can easily recall many clients whom we advised to make adjustments to their articles, for the intent purpose of increasing their odds of seeing their articles in print. These folks knew what they wanted, and they needed us to "just do our jobs, and keep our opinions to ourselves". That is fine. We know how to keep our noses out of our clients' business. If you don't want our advice, we will not give it. Ironically, many of those folks who did not want our advice were unsatisfied with their results. (As we were concerned that they would be.) It Might Seem Odd...
It might seem odd for me to tell you this, but honesty has always been our best policy.
If you are curious about Ezine Trendz, Submit Your Article, or Isnare article distribution services, it is understandable.
Each article distribution company has their own unique distribution reach and their own audiences.
- Ezine Trendz is the article distribution company most like our own, but they are very different. Ezine Trendz has a private list of 500 ezine (newsletter) publishers to whom they will send your business articles.
- Submit Your Article also reaches newsletter publishers like we do, but at smaller numbers. To enhance their service, they have added a few key article directories to their distribution list.
- Isnare distributes primarily to other article directories.
When the truth is known, many of our long-time clients use various combinations of these different services. For these clients, it is not a matter of who is better. Instead, it is a matter of being able to reach even more newsletter publishers and webmasters.

Conversion Is The Name Of The Game
We can advise you on how to get the best reprint results from your articles, and we can advise on how to get better traffic to your website from your article, but we can only help deliver traffic to your website. It is up to your website to close the sale.
With your article, you are allowed to make a pitch for your website in the paragraph immediately following your article. This is called the "Resource Box" or the "About The Author Information" box. We strongly encourage you to use your Resource Box as a tool to get readers to your website. It is rare that you would want to try to sell your products in the Resource Box.

Advertising Is A Process, Not An Event
Let me ask you a question. When you listen to any hour of programming on the television or your local radio station, how many of those advertising messages have you heard before?
Most of them perhaps?
Your local car dealers understand the importance of telling their sales message to us on a frequent basis. If the purpose of advertising was to get their name into the marketplace, they could have stopped running ads years ago, because most of us have known who they are for years.
The reason why your local car dealers keep bringing you their advertising message on a weekly basis is because they understand that they must constantly remind us why we should come to their place of business.
With articles, it is much the same way.
Consistency is your best friend. If you have ten articles to distribute, you should never use a service that puts all ten articles in circulation on a single day. Instead, you should have your distribution service schedule them for distribution over a specified time frame.
We encourage our clients to set up their articles for distribution over a time frame that they can consistently produce articles. If you can write articles fast enough to distribute two articles per week, then we should set your articles to be distributed twice per week. If you can only write fast enough to do one per week, then that is the rate we should distribute your articles. If you can only do monthly articles, then we should schedule your articles for monthly distribution.

Never Trust A Computer To Do What Humans Should Do
Whenever you develop a successful business model, there are always people who chase behind your success trying to develop a competing system. As a result, there are a lot of people who created systems similar to ours, but no one has truly matched our type of service.
Our article distribution system is mostly a manual system, although we do utilize computer software in the process.
Nearly all of our competitors have decided that the best way they should compete with us is to take the human being out of the distribution process. As such, they offer their services at considerable discounts to ours. But as they say, you get what you pay for.
What Computer Software Should Not Be Trusted To Do:
- Determine which category best suits an article topic.
- Determine which publishers and webmasters may be interested in publishing an article. Many publishers only accept articles that address a specific niche within a global category. And if you abuse them, they will stop taking articles from you.
- Understand the nuances that separate one article from another article.
- Understand the nuances between what the publisher or webmaster really wants and what you have in front of you.
- Understand what keywords best describe an article.
- Understand how to best describe an article in the description.
Many of our so-called competitors have decided to take the human completely out of the equation, in order to offer their services at considerably lower rates than we do. (While there are many companies who offer article distribution services, we do not actually consider any of them to be our competitors. We are that much different from everyone else in the marketplace.)
But, many still call us their competitors. So be it. We know what makes our service different, even if they do not.

Article Preparation and Setup
Most of our so-called competitors figured out another way to beat us in price. For their services, you are required to make your article fit into their on-site forms. Since you are doing the setup work for them, they do not have to charge you for that part of the process.
We don't ask you to try to force fit your article into our database. Instead, we do that for you. We ask you to send us your article in whatever format is most easy for you to do. (You can send us a plain text email, a Word document, a pdf file, or even a link to a website.) Then we give you a special email address to use in order to send us your articles.
Our database actually stores at least twice the amount of information that other distribution services store in their databases. For example, if you post your articles on your own website before sending your articles to us, we will provide a direct link from our copy of your article on our website to your copy of the article, on the article display page on our website. This tells the search engines that your website was the original source of the article.
Some of our low-cost competitors do not even post your article on their website. At their site, you had better hope that the actual distribution does the job, because it is a one-shot deal with them.
On our website, publishers check in every day to see what articles may be available for them to reprint in their ezine or on their website. We do the distribution of your article, and then perhaps years later when a publisher is on our website to get articles, your article might be taken for use again at that time.
By far, our article distribution service is probably one of the most versatile and flexible systems in the marketplace.

Time Is Money
Everyone lacks one thing or another: Time or Money.
Could you do for yourself for free, what we do for you? Sure. If you have the time to devote to properly promoting your article on the Internet, then yes, you can do what we will do for you, and it will not cost you a dime.
While we spend and average of 20 to 60 minutes, setting up and distributing one article, the individual could spend two to three hours of their own time, to achieve the same results we can achieve. So, how much is your time worth to you?
If our rates are less than the value of two to three hours of your time, then our service will be very cost-effective for you.
We are a service provider. It is just like when you need plumbing work done at your home; you can either call a plumber to do the job for you, or you can put your overalls on and climb under the house and do the job yourself.

What Most Article Distribution Providers Do Not Tell You
- While we can guarantee to get your articles to the people who have chosen to receive articles for consideration, we cannot guarantee how many people will actually use an article.
There are many factors that will affect the reprint usage of an article:
- Title of an Article - Your title determines whether your article will be considered. It is the hook that will get your article read. It must be timely, accurate, and on the mark for what interests that publisher, webmaster or reader in that instant.
- Description of Article - If a person likes the title, they will frequently read the article description. It is the job of the description to accurately tell what the article is about.
- First Paragraph of Article - Frequently, the first paragraph of the article is the same as the description. The first paragraph of the article is your chance to establish the topic and flow of the article.
- Body of Article - Your article body must maintain the initial excitement the reader had when they opened your article. It is so easy to get bored within the body of the article and then move off to another task.
TIP: Short paragraphs help keep your reader interested when writing for the Internet. Long paragraphs on a computer monitor creates eye-strain and breaks the readers concentration. - Resource Box of Article - I am always surprised at the number of publishers who look at an author's website, before they make the final decision on using an article. Websites that are short on useful information tend to be the casualties in this game.
- Timing of Article - In order to get people to read articles, certain usage patterns must be watched. On Monday, publishers are digging through and deleting all of the Spam email in the mailbox. On Friday afternoons, people already have their minds set on their plans for the weekend.
We do not want your articles to be accidentally deleted when people are deleting their spam, so we never distribute an article between Friday at 3pm EST and Monday at 10am PST. And, we only schedule articles for distribution during weekday business hours. - Schedule of Publisher - We never truly know what is happening at the other end of the transaction. A publisher or webmaster may be swamped handling other tasks, and they have to limit their time dedicated to selecting the right articles. The publisher might only publish a certain number of articles each week, and they have already filled their quota for this week. Great articles are sometimes overlooked, and there is not much we can do to change that outcome, except to store that article on our site for possible use later.
- How We Handle HTML Formatting - Most distribution channels prohibit distributing articles with embedded keywords in the anchor text, and they generally forbid the use of HTML in the article completely. We make articles available in HTML and Text formats.
When we send the article to our publishers, we include a link that points back to your article on our website. On that page, the person choosing to reprint your article can get a HTML-ready copy of the article for use on their website. About 10% of webmasters who use the articles we distribute do use the HTML copy of the articles.
- Most Article Distribution Companies Have Unique Distribution Networks
While my competitors might reach some of the same people our service will reach, most publishers and webmasters only take articles from one or two distribution services.
(We generally reach at least 28,000 publishers and webmasters. When our system distributes an article, our software will send you a copy of the actual distribution and a copy of our TPW Distribution Report. The Distribution Report will show you how many people were subscribed to receive your article through that particular distribution.)
Each service pretty much has their own article distribution lists set up, and the various article submission services do not use the same distribution lists, as a general rule.
While there might be a little bit of overlap, there certainly is not a lot of overlap between the various services.
This is the very reason why a number of our clients also use additional distribution services to maximize the reach of their articles.

Many people get confused in this process, because they are expecting a form to fill in on our website. We don't ask you to put your articles into forms. We ask you to send them to us by email in whatever format you currently have them. We will do the rest.
- Order Our Service
- Our Post-Payment Page - Once your order is processed, you will be returned to our Post-Payment page. There you will find a short-version and long-version of our Distribution Guide.
Our Distribution Guide will tell you what we need from you and how to send it to us. And if you are in the mood for a lot of reading (5,300 words), you can read our the long-version of our guide that describes how to get the most mileage from your articles. - Send Us Your Article - We can take your articles in any format you have it. For the short-version, all we need is your 1) Article Title, 2) Article Body, 3) Author Name, 4) Article Resource Box, 5) Public Contact Email Address (We can hide your email address behind a forwarder if requested to do so).
- We Will Review Your Article - If we have questions or suggestions, we will contact you to ask them.
- We Will Set Up Your Article - Once we have your article set for distribution, we will notify you to let you know the scheduled time for distribution.
