How Do We Do It?

Believe it or not, we are frequently asked this question.

The answer is simple. We are in the business of distributing articles for other people.

When we first built this system, we built it solely to distribute our own articles. We used it as our own private marketing tool for more than two years, before we started offering this service to the public. And since we started offering our article distribution service to the public, we have continued to use our own article distribution service to promote our own websites.

We use five primary methods to build traffic and search placement for our own websites:
  1. Distribute Articles
  2. Video Articles (beginning in the last week of 2008)
  3. Unsolicited Referrals
  4. Forum Posts, with signature files
  5. Social Bookmarking
We utilize one more process on top of the afore-mentioned methods to strengthen the links we build. You can see the description of that very time-consuming process on our Pay-For-Ranking SEO sales page.

Will Article Marketing Work For You?

That depends on you.

If you can follow three pieces of very good advice, then there is no reason why you should not be able to duplicate our success.
  1. Help People Solve Problems - Publishers and webmasters want to publish articles that their readers will appreciate. People who read articles do so, because they are looking to find solutions to problems. So give publishers what they want - content their readers will want to read, so that you can get what you want - an audience for your articles and an opportunity to get more visitors to your website.

  2. Commit To Advertising As A Process, Instead Of An Event - Car dealerships don't stop advertising once everyone in town knows their name. Car lots keep on advertising, every week, because they know that their dealership needs to be in your mind, when you are ready to buy a car. Additionally, car dealership advertising is designed to move you closer to action, by offering special pricing and sales.

Article Marketing is a form of advertising, and advertising should never be treated as an event, but a process to deliver new customers and new sales.

Consistency is your friend. We recommend one to two articles per week to be distributed, if you can consistently produce content at that level. If you can only develop one article per month, then set yourself on that path and consistently put new articles into circulation.

We don't always have time to do two articles per week ourselves, but we try to keep such a schedule when we can. When we launch new products or services and need to get a lot of attention in a hurry, we redistribute old articles to find new audiences for them.

  3. Let Your Website Do The Selling - Don't try to sell in your article or your resource box. Focus on helping your reader solve a problem in your article, then use your articles' Resource Box (About The Author information) to tell readers what they will find on your website, and give readers a good reason to visit your website. With your Resource Nox, you generally get 500 text characters to tell your story, so you should strive to get the reader to your website, so that you can make a serious effort to sell your products and services at your website.
