Jesus, Son of God and Son of Man

Copyright (c) 2011-2012

Many times Jesus referred to Himself as “The Son of man”. In 1st John 5:5 we are told that “Jesus is the Son of God”. What motivated Jesus to refer to Himself as “Son of man”? In modern English He would have said I am the Son of “a” man (the man is Joseph). People are trusting in Jesus as The Messiah because of all the miracles but He doesn’t want them to mix or blend their pagan worship beliefs or their Greek philosophy with His Christianity.

Jesus was more than happy to be honored and worshiped as Deity (God in the flesh) by the pagans after He performed a miracle; but He didn’t want their religious pagan beliefs to contaminate His Gospel Truth by letting them get by with making Him “Just like” the human gods they already believe in. The Christ would also say, only worship God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; and never pray to or worship a dead saint of God, for only God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit deserve our prayers or thoughts. It is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit to pray to a created human or created spirit being!

A few hundred years after the death of all the Apostles, their children, and grandchildren etc. “grievous wolves came in and did not spare the flock” (Paul’s quote about Christianity being changed). The fact that there was a Protestant Reformation is proof that pagan thought and Greek philosophy merged with Christianity. And Jesus constantly reminding His followers that He is a “Son of man” (Joseph implied) refutes the false rumors that Jesus has to be virgin born simply because they believed every male who gets a female pregnant will automatically produce a child with a sin nature (pagan concept).

Could it be that Jesus didn’t want the 100’s of thousands of individual pagan worshipers and Greek philosophers to believe that Jesus and God The Father have the same limitations and vulnerability that the pagan born gods and mythological gods are considered to have.

When Greek philosophers and God fearing people throughout history are contemplating how the Creator God they believe in could come into this world and be human like us; they perceived He can’t be a product of human sexual passion and procreation (for that is how human sin is transmitted to you and me).

There were individuals and whole families who came to hear Jesus or His Apostles and disciples speak about the Kingdom of God and how a person can be born-again. Jesus was keenly aware that most of these people have embraced some or many concepts of Greek mythology and many pagan religions and they do not hold the Jewish Torah as their Biblical frame of reference. And they want to blend many of their beliefs with Christianity ---like going to a spiritual salad bar and merging your belief system to what seems right, in your own eyes.

News about the millions of miracles that Jesus did or gets credit for doing through the Apostles spread like a wild-fire --John 21:25. Jesus said that if you don’t believe His words then believe because of the miracles; for only a righteous God or Son of God can do these acts of kindness.

Most humans have a Theistic mindset and have no problem believing in a god or gods. Newborns have to be held and talked to or they will die very soon after they are born. Children and adults long to be talked to and touched by their family, friends and even strangers. And the concept of God becoming a man precedes Christianity and most people want to believe in a personal, loving and caring God who can be born into this world and is like us (but without a sin nature).

God has established the laws of reproduction to be the same for “All humans” throughout history (no exception, except for pagan religions). God creates the first male and female and they have a command to reproduce. The male gets the female pregnant and they “Both” give their child the building blocks for their flesh, blood and bone body.

God puts a human “created” spirit into the body of every child that a couple brings into this world; and the 100’s of billions of us humans God has created since Adam and Eve walked this earth all have one thing in common; we all have a sinful nature because God put in each of us a human “created” spirit that is given a choice to sin or not sin and we all choose to sin.

Joseph has to be the father of Jesus simply because that is the only way that He can touch our humanness and be “Like” us. God puts His own Spirit into the body of Jesus that Joseph and Mary produce through intercourse which is God ordained for all of us!

Jesus could also have said that He is “Son of woman”. But no one denies that “Jesus has come in the flesh” of Mary (born from her womb); but everyone denies that Jesus “has come in the flesh” that Joseph’s sperm produced! God used two humans to produce the person that Arthur Trafford and Jesus became; and no new satanic prototype embracing pagan theology is needed to keep Jesus sinless.

The bottom line: Jesus not having a human “created” spirit in Him is what kept Jesus sinless. God the Father’s indwelling Spirit in God the Son is the reason Jesus didn’t sin in the body that Joseph and Mary gave Jesus at conception !!!

Joseph and Mary are related through their DNA to King David to The Davidic Covenant; and if Joseph is step-father of Jesus, Jesus is NOT the Promised Messiah, and Satan gets the Jews to reject the NEW counterfeit Christian Messiah because ONLY ONE of Jesus’ parents completes or fulfills the Davidic Covenant !!!

Cheap Tattoos Cheapen The Tattooing Experience
Written by: Bree Levine | Distributed: 2010-03-04 | Word Count: 603 | Page Views: 887
Many of my girlfriends have "girl nights" around getting tattoos, as if it were as casual as getting a haircut or a manicure. The casual attitude toward tattoos bothers me for two reasons; there is the age old argument that tattoos are permanent and not a decision to make lightly. The other argument I have against tattoos is that getting a tattoo on a whim significantly cheapens the tattoos that others have for cultural reasons or to commemorate a major life event.

If you really want a tattoo, know why you really want it and know what you really want it to be. Getting a tattoo should never be taken lightly... It is a permanent expression of you, so make sure you pick the right tattoo design for the occasion.
