She Wants You Back

Copyright (c) 2007-2012 , All Rights Reserved

One of the hardest decisions in any relationship is what to do when the girl who left you wants to come back.

Naturally, you have to decide if you actually want to take her back. After all, if she's interested in coming back, she was probably the one who ended the relationship in the first place. Therefore, you need to look past the fact that you still have feelings for her and decide whether or not you still want things to work out.

Why did she leave? Did she put the blame on you to give her an excuse to end it? Did she leave because she needed to spend time by herself? Did she leave you for another man?

Before you decide if you want to take her back, you've first got to figure out if the two of you can make things work out. If she left you because of something that you've done, has anything changed that can make the relationship work? If she left you because you spend too much time with your friends, are you willing to spend less time with them? If you're not, the relationship is going to fall apart once again, and you might be better off not getting involved with her again.

On the other hand, if she left you because she had issues that she needed to deal with, that's an entirely different story. Sometimes people in relationships can't focus on their own issues while they're with someone else. If she left you and was able to confront whatever it was that she had to deal with, there's a good chance that having her come back will be a positive experience. She can focus on the relationship now, rather than on whatever it was that was pulling her away.

If she left you for another man, you need to ask yourself if you can truly forgive her – and if you can trust her. Did she leave you because of something that you did? Were you neglecting her and making her feel as if she was taken for granted? Has your behavior changed now? If so, there's a chance that the two of you can make things work out – if she's truly serious about committing to the relationship.

In the end, however, letting her come back is something that only you can decide. If you do want her back, it's important that you let the past go. Yes, there are going to be times when it comes up, but you need to work on the present and the future, rather than allow yourself to be locked into the past.

Naturally, you'll be cautious with the relationship this time around. That's to be expected, and she should understand that. However, once you become convinced that she is being sincere, make sure that she knows that you're working on learning to trust her again.
