Personal Decisions Of The Heart: Help! Held Hostage By Feelings!
Copyright (c) 2007-2021 Bronwyn NobleStar
Did you start your day with Love or Hate?
Discover how to improve the quality of your life by asking this simple question!
As it has become obvious from the first three articles ( SH-H-H-H! Feelings Present!, The Big Cover-Up!, And Personal Decisions Of The Heart: Feelings Buried Alive And Still Lurking! ), that your feelings and the charge of energy that has built up behind them is continually lurking within you, holding you captive.
Worse yet, you may not even know they are there waiting to throw your life off track. To all intents and purposes your life appears to be different than anyone else's life until you look closer and discover that you are, as is everyone else, affected by feelings, by what you think and by how you respond to the feelings buried within. Once you take a look inside yourself, what do you find?
Surprise...surprise! There lurking within your heart are all kinds of unresolved feelings lying in wait, like an ambush that you can't see! You thought they were gone because they were out of sight. But, now you see that this is not the case. That is why it has been said that the heart is unknowable. You think that you are making decisions based on your reason when in reality you may be only reacting to previously laid down emotions that you are now experiencing the outcomes of in your daily life. So, it seems that you can't go forward, you can't go back and you can't get away from them.
So what can you do?
Do you stay there hoping the emotional charge or the full impact of your feelings will go away, ( which they won't ) or do you face your fear(s) recklessly and let the chips fall where they may?
An eithy-eight year old Tennessee broom maker said that the secret to life is like riding a horse. It's all in knowing how to get back up on your horse if you should fall off into one of the ditches that runson either side of the trail you're riding on. Once you get yourself back in the saddle you continue in the direction you were heading. For those of you who are experienced hands at riding, it is easy, but to a newbie it can be quite daunting. In theory, this approach works. But in practice how do you correct the imbalances in your life that have whirled your life into disharmony and disequilibrium?
I firmly believe that if you want to learn how to do something, it is best to align yourself with someone who is already in the saddle and succeeding very well at staying in the saddle.
When in Italy, an Italian Marquis I had the good fortune to meet, told me how he had squandered his whole family fortune while living in Peru. All he had left was an old volkswagon bus, a jukebox and an idea. But having remembered the feeling or experience of what it was like to have an abundance of money, he figured out a plan of what to do to regain his fortune.
His plan was to place a jukebox in every restarurant along the Peruvian coast. Persistently, he presented his offer to restaurant owner after restaurant owner. After he got his first jukebox into one restaurant, it became easy to get the next one into another restaurant. And so he set up a chain of jukeboxes . With the money he gained, he started buying one deep sea fishing vessel after another until he had a whole fleet of them providing tourists with the opportunity to do deep sea fishing. Not only did he regain his fortune but he amassed ten times what he had lost!
But what do you do if you do you have never experienced emotional stability, peace, serenity and abundance in one or all areas of your life? How do you go about getting the lifestyle you want and the feelings that go with it? You do it in your mind first: Imagine you will be taking a trip to an unknown country. Would you just get on a plane or a ship and go there? Probably not, rather you would plan the trip, taking into account the potential cost to you in terms of time, energy, money and whatever benefits you hope to experience. You wouldn't only look at all the positives but also the possible negatives that you might encounter The same is true when you begin your journey to The Most Sought After Frontier - The Heart of The Matter - Feelings!
Thus, as you prepare mentally for your trip, you will have looked at the benefits and wished for outcomes, as well as the worst possible scenarios and how to deal with them. Then, if the most horrible situation that you could imagine doesn't happen when you're actually underway and the trip is no longer a theory, but reality, anything that happens after that can only be a blessing for you to rejoice in.
So, will you do it? Will you take your e-motional life into your own hands?
Will you empower yourself to no longer be a helpless victim but a Victor?
Will you enter The Most Sought After Frontier - The Heart of The Matter - FEELINGS?
