Personal Decisions of The Heart - Feelings Buried Alive But Still Lurking! Will you enter The Most Sought After Frontier - The Heart Of The Matter - Feelings?
Copyright (c) 2007-2021 Bronwyn NobleStar
Did you start your day with Love or Hate? Discover how to improve the quality of your life by asking this one simple question!
Here you are beginning the journey to the Most Sought After Frontier.- The Heart of The Matter - Feelings! At this point in the process you may be glimpsing that emotions are a very powerful, invisible force within you that needs to be reckoned with because as you will soon see, they can and do affect every day of your life for better or for worse.
Did you know that the quality of your life is influenced and propelled by the degree of emotional charge lurking inside of you...even if you are unaware of it?
Imagine you are a bird flying overhead, witnessing yourself going through your daily activities and viewing the processes which set your feelings in motion and supplying the energy that makes them calm and serene or wild and turbulent. Would you still do your best to avoid feeling them?
If you could experience or acknowledge the full impact of an emotion as it surfaces in your being, and if you would allow it to do its 'thing', the energy would eventually dissipate and bring you back to a state of serenity. However, the truth of the matter is that you may not take the time to go through this process . But even if you have the time, you may not have the desire to allow yourself to experience the full impact of your emotions...to ride them out or to feel and acknowledge the buried feelings because you have not recognized a pay-off for doing so. Additionally, who wants to jump into a maelstrom and feel like it will never end. That is exactly what can occur!
Knowing that e-motions can hold such a powerful charge, wouldn't it be exciting if you decided to take the plunge and deal with them right at the moment they begin to build in intensity? Of course!
In Episode one, you saw that various factors caused them to be laid down in your being: things like pleasure or pain, reward or punishment, choice or restraint, along with the charged feelings of your subsequent self-image. Now, with this knowledge of how emotions work, how many of you would deliberately choose to face them, stop avoiding them and set out to tame them?
As a baby you tried to withdraw from the initial negative traumas that hurt you. But when you couldn't, the emotional energy began to build up pressure within you much like a drain pipe from your kitchen sink, through which the water freely flows when the drain pipe is clear of debris. Once a bit of chewing gum sticks to the pipe, then every bit of debris being carried in the waste water will begin to stick to the gum. Eventually, the drain, over time will clog up and even back up creating havoc or an unhealthy situation...a spill over. Naturally, you would do your best to prevent this problem from developing in the first place, if it were your sink. But, in the case of emotions, the backlog is so great that most of you act like the ostrich and hide your head in the sand with the hope that if you don't look at them they'll go away.
Here are some of the behaviours which you may find yourself engaging in, either consciously or unconsciously:
you deny their existence and block the feeling so that you operate more from your intellect. The result is that you cut yourself off from your body and live from the neck up.
you blame others for your being out of sorts and not achieving your dreams. Then, many of you start to name call, gossip, slander or cut people up using words, looks and actions as weapons.
you may act out your feelings by venting or dumping them on innocent people, in the form of rage, violence and abuse.
The PH of your blood becomes acidic and now, not only do you have the repressed energy stored in your subconscious mind, but you also have them imprinted on a cellular level in your DNA.. These emotional habits are now beyond your rational brain and are being encoded genetically for other generations to carry the pain and suffering. Not much of an inheritance, is it? Is it any wonder, then, that you don't wish to acknowledge and feel your feelings? The energy charge is just too powerful! You feel that you can't handle them. And so for most of you, it is easier, you think, to go the habitual way...stuff and bury them! The result...you will find yourself spending your life bouncing from wave to wave or e-motion to e-motion.
If you recognize that this is the case. Then your feelings are still alive and well, lurking within you and waiting for the right moment to trip you up. In the process you may find yourself experiencing broken relationships, lost or shelved dreams and financial crises.
Yes, e-motions or feelings, the invisible force within you, moves you in ways most of you do not understand or enjoy. Yet, you seem to be helpless in regards to dealing with them. Meanwhile, they operate beneath the surface of your being and affect every aspect of your life...mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, social and financial.
If this has been the case in your life, let me tell you some exciting news. All of this process can be interrupted and reversed, if you have the courage and the willingness to take the steps to learn how to face them and ride them out. Then harness them so you can realize your dreams and live the lifestyle you choose...by your design, not by accident. Will you do it? Will you acknowledge and release the feelings lurking beneath the surface of your conscious mind? Will you insert the key to unlock the door to The Heart of The Matter - FEELINGS?
