Innovative Solar Lights and Wind Chimes You Should Know About
Copyright (c) 2009-2023 Kris Bond
When you think of solar lights the typical places that most people use them are in their yard, along their driveway, and in a garden. However, with new innovative solar lights, which will last longer than the older ones, there are many other places that solar lights can be used.
The Solar Umbrella
This is a new idea. How about a solar umbrella? This is a typical umbrella that goes over your patio table except it has 24 LED lights in the upper poles. There is a solar panel on the top of the umbrella, which allows the lights to charge and add the ambiance you want when the sun goes down. Just like a regular solar light, it uses a rechargeable battery and it can be turned on or off depending on your mood. The umbrella lights will burn for approximately 6 to 8 hours and the light is water resistant.
Atmosphere Bowl
This is a bowl that changes colors or can be adjusted to stay one color. The bowl is not only a light but can actually be used as a bowl. It can be the holder of candy or fruit and can be washed as well. This would be a great idea for your holiday parties. The charge of three hours will allow the bowl to light for approximately 8 to 10 hours.
Solar Charged Low-Profile Accent Light
This is a wonderful way to light steps or a path. The lights are low profile and are perfect for using on fences, railings, and anywhere else you need a light but do not want to use a bright light. The accent light charges all day and when night falls, they automatically illuminate the place you have chosen. Using 2 bright LED lights, they will last for up to 15 hours.
Light Me a Stand - Shed, Garage, Boathouse
The light on a stand will be the light you need for your garage or boathouse. The solar panel is put on the side of the building in which you need the light. The sun charges the panel and the light inside comes on when you need to see. There are no electrical wires. The secret is the Mono Crystalline solar panel, which charges the light. This light will hold 6 LED lights and stay quite bright for a couple of hours. A switch turns the light on and off so you can save the light for when it is needed. Move the light to wherever you need light at night without worrying about having an electrical hook-up.
Section 2 - Solar Chimes
Blue Moon
The blue smiling moon with the look of far extending galaxies will secure to your window and light the night with blues and purples. In addition to lighting the window, there are chimes below the face. The moon is approximately eight inches by thirteen inches and is sure to enhance your home inside or out.
The Sun
What is the moon without the sun to bring a whimsical start to your day with chimes? The golden face has a dappling of rust and gold as if the sunlight was caught and stayed here. The sun is also eight inches by thirteen inches and will accompany the moon as they take turns watching over night and day.
The Window Chime
Instead of hanging this chime on your front porch, the window chime is best if used on an inside or outside window. The vine is a metal leaf, which leads to a chime, which looks like a flower and hangs from a bracket made of wrought iron. This window chime comes in five colors and is thirteen inches long.
Belle Fleur
The 12-inch by 5-1/2 inch floral wind chime is great for sitting on a table. This is a green gift item and the delicacy of the floral design just adds to the gift itself. With a vine, which is part of the floral design, this wind chime will give you hours of enjoyment when listening to the music they make.
Angel
This is a celestial looking angel, which is quite simple in design. The tapestry made is of the finest angel hair. The wings are metallic and the chimes are below the angel’s dress. This angel is 13 inches tall and would be a favorite for the holidays.
There are many useful items that can be great for the environment. These are great for gift giving and you may find there are several you would like to keep for yourself. The alternative energy sources we find today are going to make a huge difference tomorrow.
