Buy Your Golf Enthusiast Flowers For Father's Day
Copyright (c) 2006-2023 Wesley Berry, AAF
Does your father, grandfather, uncle, or husband spend his weekends yelling, "FORE!"? Does he faithfully watch the weather report to determine when he can squeeze a golf game in between rain showers? Does he keep his golf clubs in the trunk and a few tees in his pocket just in case he finds himself with a little time to stop off at the course? If so, you've got a golf fanatic on your hands and I've got a great Father's Day gift idea for you-golf-themed flowers arrangements!
Flowers are such an easily personalized gift that they can be combined with virtually any interest the recipient may have-even golf. Your florist is an expert at creating unique floral arrangements to fit the interests of anyone you know, even your favorite father figure.
To begin getting the perfect Father's Day gift for your golf nut, simply pick up the phone, log on to the Internet, or stop by your local florist. Explain whom the gift is for and how you'd like to use golf as a theme for the gift. If you're a little confused about how you can make golf a part of your floral arrangement, keep reading; some tips are provided below. Or, you can ask your florist for some ideas as well.
Here are some ideas for using golf in your floral Father's Day gift:
Bring your florist a box of tees or golf balls (or both!) to include in the arrangement. They can be tucked in among the flowers, placed in a box delivered with the flowers, or arranged in one side of a box or basket with the flowers on the other side.
Purchase a gift certificate to a sporting goods store that carries golf equipment and ask your florist to place the certificate in the flowers. It can be mounted on a card stick and placed in the arrangement or tied to a vase with a ribbon.
Bring a large mug with a saying related to golf to the florist and ask that the arrangement be created in the mug. The recipient can enjoy the flowers, and when they wilt, he can wash the cup and use it for his favorite hot beverage after a round of golf on a cool day.
Regardless of who the father figure in your life is-father, uncle, grandfather, or husband-if he loves golf, he'll love to receive flowers that recognize his love for the game. So, pick up the phone and tee off a great gift for Father's Day!

Easter, the Christian festival commemorating the resurrection of
Christ, was the earliest feast day decided upon by the ancient
Christian Church. Like its Jewish predecessor Passover, it is a
movable feast, based on the lunar calendar rather than falling on
the same Sunday every year. It is a joyous festival and a time of
redemption.

It's a sad fact that the American culture lacks in romance-a
recent survey conducted by Brusking/Goldring Research for the
Society of American Florists (SAF) revealed just how bad the
situation is. According to the survey, only 19 percent of men
rate themselves as at least a seven on a scale of one to 10. Even
worse, women agree! Only 19 percent of them rank their husbands
or significant others as at least a seven.

Which holiday is the biggest for flower sales? I'll bet you're
thinking Valentine's Day or Mother's Day. Well, those two are
certainly big, but it's Christmas that draws more customers
into flower shops than any other holiday. Perhaps that's
because flowers bring a festive feel to any room they adorn
