Thank you for adhering to these four very simple rules.
There are a few different ways to stop snoring. Some are
expensive and others are simply things like chin exercises.
Snoring is a major concern these days for doctors as they learn
more and more about what snoring does to the body. Simply
sleeping less, and with less quality of sleep, can do terrible
things to your immune system and your daily performance and
energy levels.
But it goes deeper than that. Snoring affects your heart health
and can lead to obesity as you lose energy and are increasingly
unable to fathom being able to workout or be at all active.
You probably knew it was important to stop snoring already. So
how can you go about it?
1) Surgery
This is quickly fading as an option for most people. Sometimes
the surgery doesn't work and sometimes only for awhile. With
weight gain, snoring can start up again after you have had
surgery.
One thing is always true about snoring surgery: it is expensive
and invasive. Two things most people do not want to consider
when looking for a snoring remedy.
2) Exercises
While chin exercises have helped some people stop snoring, they
don't work for everyone. Mainly because most people forget or
stop doing the exercises regularly.
3) Anti Snoring Devices
Anti snoring devices are popping up everywhere these days. From
one-time use adhesive "chin up" strips to chin straps, they come
in all shapes and sizes.
The most effective by far of all the stop snoring devices is the
chin strap. These wrap around your head, under the chin to keep
your jaw in place and mouth closed during the night.
Since most snoring is caused by "open-mouth" snoring, the effect
is to immediately stop snoring on the first use.
Your airway remains open all night when you keep your mouth
closed and jaw back in its proper place.
Do this to test yourself: try replicating your snoring by first
keeping your mouth closed. Then try it with your mouth open.
If you are an open-mouth snorer, it should have been very easy
to replicate the sound you make when you snore in your sleep.
It may be the first time you've ever heard yourself the way
others do when you sleep!
A simple, inexpensive chin strap anti snoring device may be all
you need to stop snoring right away.
One thing is sure, that first night of sound, restful sleep is
going to feel like a million bucks the next day. Your energy
levels day to day should rise considerably and your health
overall should improve drastically over time.
An anti snoring device is the most immediate solution for most
snorers.
