Thank you for adhering to these four very simple rules.
I spent many years of my life attempting to heal countries and
regional conflicts. A friend once told me: "When the Secretary
of State sneezes, you catch a cold."
I drilled into political quagmires and designed projects to make
the world a safer place.
I warned about looming water shortages and forged plans for water
peace.
But just when I felt secure in my niche, confident that my
mission was worthy and right -- I heard a tiny but audible chord
from within heralding a new journey.
A CNN reporter was conducting an interview in my home on a
Saturday morning.
The journalist was intense and sincere. She looked at her notes
-- and then over my head into the camera. The film was rolling.
She asked a question about acute water sharing shortages in
Israel and Jordan. I was confident that my soundbite reply would
be understood by the viewing audience.
But while responding, I was also aware of a competing desire from
my heart: to change the subject.
My friendships and interests had changed over time, almost
without notice. Most of my friends were in alternative health
professions. News, in their view, was mostly noise.
Instead, they shared rich, riveting information about natural
healing.
They told me about exciting possibilities for human vitality and
joy. About healing secrets lost over the ages. I journeyed in
my mind to the temples of ancient Egypt, to the curative caves of
the Dead Sea and glided alongside the wisdom of history's
greatest water travelers, the Phoenicians.
I found myself drawn to the Bible as a resource on water and
health.
King Solomon reminds us that where water is scarce, water is
wealth: "I constructed pools of water to irrigate a forest
springing up with trees...Thus I gained more wealth than anyone
before me in Jerusalem." In Chronicles it is written, "The Lord
God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David...by a
covenant of salt."
I learned that without a proper cellular balance between water
and salt, our bodies cannot survive. Even the richest or most
powerful among us is not stronger than the irrevocable alliance
between water and salt -- a simple fact that is inexplicably out
of reach for most people.
Several months following the CNN interview, I was invited to New
York for a meeting on my proposal for a Mideast Water Trust. I
flew in from Washington, arrived at my hotel at 8:30 at night and
was assigned to a room on the 12th floor.
The room reaked of smoke. I called the desk and was told that an
11th floor room was available. The hotel porter reversed course
with my luggage. We headed back to the elevator for a 30 second
trip to the floor below.
He pushed the 11th floor button, but the elevator did not stop
at the 11th floor. It bounced down to the 11th floor, and
thereafter the 10th floor and every floor thereafter, until we
hit the lobby.
With the press of an elevator button, the universe jolted me
into a vastly different journey -- how to heal a neck injury that
was to become my new companion!
Healing, health, wellness, wealth -- all lead back to a common
source.
One cannot be IN wealth if body, spirit or home is in pain or
under stress.
I no longer deal with intractable conflicts. I focus only on
hope and victory.
The journey of renewal transported me finally to the most ancient
waters on earth -- the Primal Sea -- and to true remnant of these
pure waters: the healing Salt Solution.
I discovered How to Heal Myself!
I hope that my personal voyage can also help others discover true
Wealth.
