Machiavelli Magic (Machiavelli Hangman Film Review)

Perhaps this year’s most appealing film, and an extremely
inventive one at that. Machiavelli Hangman appears out of the
blue and crowns itself a major motion picture to be reckoned
with. Stacked opposite the mega-budgeted competition including
Peter Jackson’s upcoming King Kong and War of the Worlds,
Machiavelli Hangman seems like a David versus Goliath. The reason
behind this independent film’s appeal is not the gore or the
brainless comedy that had previously made other independent films
successful. The reason Machiavelli Hangman is brilliant is
because everything in the time range of 2 hours manages to fit
perfectly. The cast is in complete sync with the directing, the
directing is in sync with the music, and the music with the
cinematography.
The filmmaker behind this impressive debut is one by the name of
Shervin Youssefian. The name may seem as forgettable as Arnold
Schwarzenegger but at the rate this young man is marketing this
film, he will most likely rank at the same level of power as the
governor of California one day. One of a series of superb short
films that Youssefian made before getting into the feature
field, was entitled Color Blind. I had the pleasure of seeing
this film at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival
and I was blown away at the simplicity of the images mixed in
with the brooding music in the background. This combination
truly created a haunting result that stayed with me for a long
time. I had this longing urge to somehow get in touch with the
filmmaker and encourage him to expand the film into a feature
and although Machiavelli Hagnman is not an extension of that
short film, my wish has been granted.
This film is not your conventional Hollywood flick, so if you are
in the mood for a film like Spiderman, then I suggest strongly
against watching this film. It’s very similar to Quentin
Tarantino’s earlier work before he sold out to Hollywood and
money. Just like in Reservoir Dogs, the characters walk into the
room and they beat themselves down with words. Just words. And
the dialogue crackles and it makes you laugh and makes you only
wish you could talk like them. The beauty of it is that it
doesn’t display a lot of violence and it really takes into
consideration everyone in the audience. If you want great
entertainment without the spoon-feeding-to-the-audience, then
strap on your belt and get ready for the ride of your life.
Machiavelli Hangman is riding into town this December so check
your listings at a theatre near you.

Article Marketing Tips:
| |
|
- Stand out from the crowds. Educate your prospects and they will turn to you for more knowledge. When they turn to you for more, they will visit your website. It is up to your website copy to sell your products, NOT your article. Provide great information and at your website, address how the prospect will benefit from what you are offering. Using these things in conjuction will help your cash register to ring.
