Confronting the Challenge of Finding a Babysitter for your Kids
    Copyright 2004, Bill Platt

As a parent of a four year old and an 18 month old, my wife and
I have often found ourselves discussing the desire to find a
suitable babysitter to watch our kids.

When our oldest was 18 months, we wanted to take a vacation
to Las Vegas, but we could not take our beloved child to the
casino. So after much discussion, one of my wife's friends
volunteered to take a short vacation to sit our son while
we were on our trip. Instead of working her job that week,
she agreed to let us pay her to watch our son for those five
days. A much desired vacation was finally had.

This year we would have liked to have duplicated that kind
of vacation, but with two children, we could not find any
takers. So, this year, we must schedule a vacation with the
children and hope for the best.

Since we no longer live in our hometown, our chances of
finding a babysitter for a couple of hours during an evening
are almost null. We have on two occasions taken the kids to
a daycare while we caught an afternoon matinee at the theater.
Yet, if we wanted to evening showing at the theater, our
    prospects remain thin at best.

THE GLOBAL INTERNET HAS COME TO THE RESCUE

As an Internet savvy person, I was able to stumble upon a
website that I wish to share with you today. The site in
question is called Phone a Babysitter. You can get there
    by clicking this link:

       http://thePhantomWriters.com/redir/babysitter.html

This site has come together in such a way to serve both
the needs of someone looking to make some extra money by
babysitting, and by serving the needs of parents who would
cherish a break from their children.

    SAFETY FIRST

Given the safety threats of both the Internet and strangers,
Phone a Babysitter has put together a package for their patrons
    called the Safety First Program.

Within this program, they teach both babysitters and parents
what they need to know to protect themselves from selecting
the wrong people from within the program.

In fact, the Safety First Program can teach babysitters how
to select the families they work with, and the program will
also teach parents some important tips about how to select
a babysitter. All of this information can by used by both
parents and babysitters in the real world by people who never
even participate in the Phone a Babysitter program.

Phone a Babysitter is keen on providing parents and babysitters
with the knowledge they need to protect themselves and to make
the best from a new relationship of this kind.

    A NORTH AMERICAN RESOURCE

The Phone a Babysitter program is available to people who live
in both the United States and Canada. There are babysitters
available from around the world who are living in your local
area and are willing to offer their services to you for a few
    extra dollars.

By working within the system, you are able to review the
personalities of people who are living in your locality, and
you are able to select the best person to work with you and
    your family.

For the purposes of full and total disclosure, I am bringing
this resource to you for two selfish reasons.

    1. There are not yet any babysitters in my local area who
have registered to offer babysitting services. So, I have
asked the site to notify me when someone in the 73703 area
code registers as a babysitter. (My wife and I look forward
to the opportunity to take a break without the kids.)

    2. Phone a Babysitter is offering an affiliate program, paying
people to help them build their parent and babysitter
database. So, if I earn an extra couple of dollars promoting
this program, it will help me pay for those babysitting
       fees.

HOW THE PAID / FREE SERVICE WORKS

Parents and babysitters are both permitted to participate in
the program for absolutely no charge. Yet, both are encouraged
to upgrade their membership for only $19.95 per year.

Babysitters are able to join the program for free, but are
encouraged to pay the membership fee to have their information
provided to everyone in the database who might be looking for
a sitter. This fee remains small enough that a babysitter can
actually cover their yearly fee in one evening's worth of
    sitting.

Parents are able to join for free and use the service for
free. Yet, in some cases, their best bet for a babysitter
will be in the free listings for babysitters. Parents who
have upgraded their membership will be able to see the sitter
information for all sitters --- those who have paid memberships
and even those who have free memberships. So long as one of
the two people in the transaction have paid the yearly upgrade
fee to Phone a Babysitter, all is well.

It is a beautiful system. Those who expect to earn an income
from the program pay a small yearly fee to be listed. Only
those parents who want access to the babysitters who did not
pay for their listing will need to upgrade their membership.
All others will see the paid listings for free.

And I, as an affiliate, will earn a few extra dollars from
those who upgrade their free membership to a paid membership.

    TAKE A FEW MINUTES

Take a few minutes to click through the redirect URL listed
below to learn more about the program:

       http://thePhantomWriters.com/redir/babysitter.html

I believe that you will, as I did, find this to be an
exceptional idea whose time is long overdue.

Babysitters in north-central Oklahoma, please provide your
listing so that I might be able to find you. The sooner, the
    better.

    Article Marketing Tips:
    • Stand out from the crowds. Educate your prospects and they will turn to you for more knowledge. When they turn to you for more, they will visit your website. It is up to your website copy to sell your products, NOT your article. Provide great information and at your website, address how the prospect will benefit from what you are offering. Using these things in conjuction will help your cash register to ring.
