Generating Residual Income For Your Home Business
Copyright © 2005, Ken Leonard Jr

Imagine getting checks in your mailbox every month, whether you
worked much that month or not. This is possible over the next 12
months, if you are willing to do a lot of work in the beginning.
Residual income like this can become an important part of the
long-term future of your home business.

Many people make a good living marketing products on the internet
as an affiliate for different companies. If done correctly, your
efforts can produce residual income each and every month. The key
to residual income from affiliate sales is to promote products
and services that have a recurring service charge that will be
    paid by the customer.

Two good (and very competitive) examples of affiliate programs
that pay residual commissions are web site hosting services and
membership sites. Other ways to get paid regularly from an
affiliate program include selling higher priced items that offer
payment plans and by signing up reps under you in a two tier
    affiliate program.

You make a lot less per sale with second tier commissions, but
you have done little to generate this income by signing up the
affiliate under you. Keep in mind that not all affiliate programs
offer two tier commissions, so the ones that do have a lot of
reps and are also highly competitive.

Many people have created steady residual income without selling
products as an affiliate. A network marketing home business
chosen wisely can produce reliable, continuing income month after
month. This requires a substantial amount of effort for the first
6 to 12 months, but then can be maintained more easily by the
system you now have in place.

Unless you have a boatload of cash to invest in stocks and bonds,
affiliate marketing and network marketing are your best bets to
create the residual income that can secure your financial future.

    Article Marketing Tips:
    • Stand out from the crowds. Educate your prospects and they will turn to you for more knowledge. When they turn to you for more, they will visit your website. It is up to your website copy to sell your products, NOT your article. Provide great information and at your website, address how the prospect will benefit from what you are offering. Using these things in conjuction will help your cash register to ring.
