Thank you for adhering to these four very simple rules.
Have you given up hope that success in anything will ever come
your way? No matter what age you are, it's never too late to make
something of yourself. When you are old and feeble, the last
thing you want is to regret all of the things that you never did.
Many people have started successful careers who were forty, fifty
or even sixty years old. If you are forty or fifty and have
basically given up on ever achieving anything with you life, it's
time to wake up. It is my intent today to get you out of that
chair (the one in front of the television) and fired up about
what you could accomplish with the second half of your life.
You may be surprised to find out that some of your favorite movie
personalities were not even actors prior to age 40. The same goes
for some notable recording artists and novelists/writers. Many
were previously working in a totally unrelated field.
How does this apply to you? Even if you've lost all hope of
becoming successful at something, you could very well turn things
around for yourself in the next few months. But you will have to
get out of that day to day rut first. Then you have to put forth
some genuine effort. If you are willing to do this, you could
really have your own profitable small business. And it doesn't
matter how old you are.
We all have relatives and friends that do nothing but watch
television, eat and drink. Then they complain that their life
sucks. I hate to see people waste their lives like that. Sure,
everyone should be able to do whatever they want. But we all have
only limited time in this world. Making a point to do something
with your life will not only make you happier and let you have
the material things you want, but achieving success in something
will put you in a position where you can help others.
That's sure a lot better than sitting there watching life pass
you by.
There is help for you if you care to pursue it. The choice is
yours. If you think you're enjoying life glued to that big fluffy
chair with your tv remote control and bag of cheesy poofs,
imagine relaxing in that chair aboard your yacht. What if that
chair were in your London apartment with a view of Big Ben? That
same chair could also be by the fireplace in your ski villa in
Aspen or your chateau in the south of France...
Getting off your butt and doing something worth while with your
life looks a lot better now, doesn't it? Never regret what have
not done. Put yourself in a position to do anything you want. You
can if you try.
